“I am Cajun and from Southern Louisiana. I miss home more than anything and I miss the food. I usually make my own Cajun food, but I don't always want to cook. I have been to many places claiming to be authentic here in town and have left disappointed each time. When I find this place online, I begged my husband to take me. He was skeptical, knowing that each time I try a new place I leave disappointed, but this place was DELICIOUS!! We had the bronzed catfish and grits, Roast Beef Po'Boy, and bread pudding. “Attention all Vejuns... If you are from Louisiana and live here in Vegas you will understand the origin of that word. (Vejuns) If you don't, then ask Lola when you visit her. This is as good as it gets for Louisiana cuisine in Las Vegas. I am from Louisiana and used to work with a lot of great chefs in New Orleans. You ever hear of Emeril Lagasse? Lola hits the nail on the head with her authentic Louisiana cuisine. I will not do a review on any of the dishes that I have had, because a review won't do them justice. You just have to see for yourself. I am there every wednesday trying something new on the menu. I haven't tried everything yet but I am on my way. I was hooked from the very first bite and am not looking back until I try it all. My hats off to you for accomplishing that truly authentic Louisiana feel both inside and out every time I visit.
